County Calendar

September is Emergency Preparedness Month. The Rockland County Office for the Aging is partnering with New York State to provide free Citizens Preparedness Corps training for older adults on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Fire Training Center Auditorium in Pomona.

Each family that attends will receive one free emergency preparedness kit containing examples of key items to assist individuals in the immediate aftermath of a disaster.

Rockland County residents, 60 years and over MUST register by:

1) Calling the Office for the Aging at 845-364-2101 and speaking to a staff member
