Fleet Operations

Fleet Operations has the responsibility for the acquisition, maintenance, repair and disposal of all county owned vehicles. Departments are assigned vehicles as per their needs and a small fleet of community vehicles is maintained for county employees in need of quick, reliable transportation as related to the fulfillment of their daily job functions.

Vehicle performance and utilization is gauged through data gathered from our asset management systems, allowing for the right sizing and efficient use of the fleet. Maintenance and repairs are performed through our county owned automotive facilities by competent mechanics and/or authorized solution centers. Whether fully electric, hybrid or conventionally powered vehicles, we provide the safest, most cost effective and time efficient solutions for the county's fleet needs.
