Town Clubs
The Town Recreation Departments offer programs for town residents 60 years of age and older to meet and socialize. Call the Senior Citizen Leader at your Town Recreation Department for information on joining a club.

Daily social program where older adults gather for riveting lectures, musical performances, nutritious meals and the opportunity to stay connected with friends. Door-to-door transportation is provided. Registration is required.

Meals on Wheels Senior Centers Program

Meals on Wheels Programs & Services of Rockland operates senior centers located throughout Rockland County. The senior centers offer a "home away from home" for hundreds of participants who enjoy the camaraderie of their peers and stimulating activities. A hot lunch is served daily, and transportation is provided.

Rockland Community Development Center, Inc. (RCDC)

The RCDC senior center offers a reprieve from isolation, in addition to health screenings, educational lectures, recreation and physical activities.

The Rockland County Senior Club is designed to encourage citizens of Rockland County to participate in on-and-off campus educational, cultural, health, and social activities. The club offers its members intellectual and social experiences through guest speakers, cultural presentations, and trips to places of interest. The club meets every second Friday of each month at noon when the college is in session in the Technology Center, Ellipse (Room 8180). Parking is available in the student lot opposite the Technology Center.

Contributions are voluntary and confidential and are used to expand the services for which they are received. No one will be denied services because of an inability or unwillingness to contribute.

Services are funded in part by the Administration for Community Living, New York State Office for the Aging and the Rockland County Office for the Aging.
