Isn’t it time you had more life in your work-life balance? Rockland County Government offers a generous paid time off package, including vacation days, personal leave, holidays, and sick time. In addition to paid time off, employees may also qualify for bereavement leave, and educational leave. Certain accrued time can roll over from year to year, and upon retirement, you may be eligible for a limited payout for certain unused paid time off, adding extra value to your long-term financial plan.

Health and Wellness

Rockland County offers a variety of medical, dental, and vision plans to meet your needs. Eligible employees can also take advantage of a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to set aside pre-tax dollars for healthcare expenses and childcare expenses.
