TOR provides bus service to locations within Rockland County.

TRIPS Paratransit

TRIPS is a curbside-to-curbside paratransit bus service for Rockland County residents with physical, mental, developmental or intellectual disabilities or senior citizens aged 60 or over, who find it difficult or impossible to use fixed-route bus service such as TOR.

TRIPS Tickets are valid for Regular TRIPS and ADA TRIPS Services and can be purchased from any TRIPS driver or at the TRIPS Office at the Rockland County Department of Public Transportation.

Exact Fare

Please make every effort to have exact fare when boarding the bus to speed your trip. Cash is no longer provided as change. Instead, the farebox issues electronic Change Cards that can be used toward future rides.

Transfers

Must be purchased when boarding your first bus. Transfers may be used only to complete a single one-way trip and will be honored only at designated transfer points. Transfers may not be used for stopovers or round trips. Transfers are only valid for three hours after being issued. A transfer is not valid on the same route from which it was issued.

Senior Discount Fare

Passengers aged 60 or older with valid proof of age. A Reduced-Fare Photo ID card can be obtained from the Rockland County Department of Public Transportation. Card fee is $2.00. Call the Rockland Transit Information Center for details at (845) 364-3333.

Medicare Cardholders

Cardholders of any age can obtain a discounted fare by showing their Medicare card when boarding the bus. Rockland residents who are Medicare cardholders may also obtain a Reduced-Fare Photo ID card from the Rockland County Department of Public Transportation. Card fee is $2.00. College Students

Fall or Spring semester bus passes are available to students enrolled at Rockland Community College, Dominican College, and St. Thomas Aquinas College, for $60.00 per semester. Contact your College Bursar's office to purchase a pass.

Children

Children under 40 inches ride free when accompanied by an adult.

SuperSaver Tickets

SuperSaver tickets are a volume-discounted fare option. Tickets must be purchased in volume, 10 tickets for $11.00. Use one ticket for a TOR ride. SuperSaver tickets may also be used on Clarkstown Mini-Trans. SuperSaver tickets cannot be combined with other discounts.

For Hudson Link Bus/Metro-North train combination, or Haverstraw-Ossining ferry/Metro-North train combination, consider UniTicket, a weekly or monthly pass for commuters making Bus/Rail or Ferry/Rail connections.
