We post the job opportunities to bridge the gap between the veteran and the business looking to support our veteran community. The Café Associate at the County Court House

The Café Associate at the County Court House, New City, is responsible for the successful operation of the café. He/she manages, and oversees the café operations to ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service possible. BRIDGES of Rockland County

BRIDGES is looking for Per Diem drivers to support local veterans. Job requirements include maintaining a valid license, be flexible for the days/times may vary, and be respectful to our Veterans/individuals with disabilities they will be transporting. CHORE

CHORE helps people maintain the independence of living at home by providing free minor household repairs and home improvements that make living at home safe. CHORE is always looking for volunteers that have experience in minor home repairs/improvements and electric work. Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds

Established in 1953, Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds is a non-profit children's campground with locations in Pearl River, Staten Island and Wheatley Heights, NY. Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds managers, maintains and operates more than 500 acres spread across these three camp sites. HKC offers special programs to the summer camps operated by JCC's and YM-YMHA's throughout New York City, Long Island, Rockland, and Westchester Counties. Each camp has a designated area to call its own, where it has created a unique program and camp culture.

HKC Rockland County is responsible for the 105-acre property in Pearl River, which serves as home to four separate children's day camps. Established in 1955, the camp serves more than 1,300 campers on a daily basis.

HKC Wheatley Heights, LI property was established in 1959 and is the newest of the three HKC sites. With 325 acres, serving over 1,300 campers a day, the expansive grounds are a mix of wide-open spaces filled with multi-use and athletic fields and woodsy, rustic areas.

HKC Staten Island opened in 1952 as a rural oasis for children living in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Its 75 acres is now home to three-day camps, one basis in lower Manhattan, one in Brooklyn, and one on Staten Island. The camp serves more than 1,300 campers on a daily basis.

As a seasonal organization, HKC hires workers that provide maintenance and janitorial services, aquatics, and security to ensure we can carry out our mission to provide a safe environment and meet the needs of the camps who call HKC home. Chimney Sweep needed today in Rockland County; no experience needed. Must be able to climb roofs and not be afraid of heights. You would receive 30-45 days of paid training, with payday every Friday. Pay is $18-25/hour, depending on your experience. You would receive full benefits (401k).
