Board of Commissioners
Rockland County Sewer District No. 1 is governed by a 10 member Board of Commissioners serving at the pleasure of the Legislature of Rockland County. A Chairman and Vice Chairman are designated by the Board of Commissioners to conduct meetings, execute documents and have such other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the Commissioners.
The Executive Director is responsible for carrying out the provisions of the Sewer Use Law of 2010 as amended, the policies of the Board of Commissioners and the Legislature of Rockland County, as well as the day to day operations of the Sewer District's Facilities and the overall responsibility for the District's construction program.
